Online payments
Your customers pay invoices by card or bank transfer. Payments run on Stripe and go to your bank account. Stripe's fee is included in these rates; there is nothing else to pay per payment.

Questions
Is Starter really free?
Yes. Starter is free for up to 25 pools, and you don't need a card to sign up.
Do you charge per pool or per tech?
No. Each plan is one flat monthly price. Route is $99 a month for up to 150 pools. Company is $249 a month for unlimited pools and techs.
What happens when I grow past my plan?
You move to the next plan: Route once you pass 25 pools, Company once you pass 150.
Is any feature locked to a higher plan?
No. Everything you need to run routes is in every plan, including water balance and dosing. Plans differ only by how many pools you have. Add-ons are optional.
What do online payments cost?
Cards are 3.4% + 25¢ per payment, the same for one-time payments and autopay. Bank transfers (ACH) are 1%, capped at $10. Stripe's own fee is included in those rates. On a $150 invoice that is $5.35 by card or $1.50 by bank transfer.
Can I pass the card fee on to my customers?
Not yet. An optional card surcharge is coming soon. It is off and not built today.
Do you have AI phone answering?
Not yet. It's coming soon, and you can join the waitlist on this page. We don't charge for it or turn it on until it's ready.
Can I bring my customers over from Skimmer?
Yes, free. Upload a Skimmer customer export, a QuickBooks customer list or any spreadsheet saved as CSV, or email it to support@shockroute.com and we'll import it for you.
What is the Live in a day guarantee?
Send us your customer list within 14 days of signing up. If your routes aren't running within 7 days after we receive it, your first 3 months are free. The full terms are on our Terms page. Read the terms
Does it work in Spanish?
The tech app does: each tech can switch it to Spanish with one tap. The office screens are in English.
